The Volkswagen CAXA is a 1.4 litre EA111 four cylinder petrol engine. The CAXA is turbocharged, direct injected and runs double overhead cams with sixteen valves and variable cam timing. Volkswagen CAXA timing chain sets
The CAXA uses a timing chain, not a belt. Three chain sets are listed and they are not the same. One includes the gears and the oil pump chain. One carries the VVT gear but no oil pump chain or guide. Count what came off the front of the engine before you order.
CAXA piston and ring set
A Yenmak piston and ring set is listed for the CAXA, cut 0.5mm oversize. That set only suits a block that has already been bored.
Head bolts and the rest of the CAXA page
A head bolt set and a Victor Reinz rocker cover gasket finish the CAXA listing. Those head bolts are stretch type and cannot be reused once tightened.
