The Volkswagen CAXC is a turbocharged 1.4 litre four cylinder petrol engine from the EA111 family. Sixteen valves sit under double overhead camshafts and the fuel is injected straight into the cylinder. Volkswagen and Audi ran it from the late 2000s into the middle of the following decade. Between the piston set, the head bolts and one gasket, the CAXC comes to 3 parts.
