The Holden F16D3 is a 1.6 litre DOHC 16 valve inline four, naturally aspirated and port injected. Part of GM’s Family 1 range, the F16D3 reached Australia in 2005 in the Barina TK and 1.6 litre Cruze. The A15MF is the 1.5 litre version and the A16DMS is the earlier Daewoo built 1.6. The F16D3 shares two of these 4 parts with both of them.
F16D3 head gasket sets and head bolts
Two full VRS sets are listed, one from Victor Reinz and one from FAI that also covers the 1.4 litre F14D3. A VRS set carries the head gasket and the valve stem seals, which is what a head off job needs. The head bolt set is packed for the A15MF and A16DMS as well, so the box reads wider than your engine. Those bolts stretch on torque and are not meant to go back in a second time.
F16D3 timing belt parts
The F16D3 runs a timing belt, not a chain, and the idler pulley is listed here. Change the idler with the belt rather than on its own.
