Toyota and Mazda 13B Engine Parts

The 13B code belongs to two unrelated engines and this page holds both. Six are for the Toyota 13B, a 3.4 litre inline-4 diesel with a pushrod OHV head. The 13B is naturally aspirated with direct injection and went into the Dyna and Coaster from the mid 1980s. Three are Haltech harnesses for the Mazda 13B rotary. 9 parts are listed here in total.

13B conrod bearings

Three sets: NDC standard shared with the 3B and 11B, NDC for the turbo 13B-T, and 0.75 mm undersize. The 3B is the 3.4 indirect injection version and the 11B the direct injection engine the 13B replaced. Measure the journals first, as a 0.75 mm bearing will not sit on a crank ground only 0.25.

Camshaft bearings and pin bushes

The NDC cam bearing set covers the B family from the 3.0 litre B to the 4.1 litre 15B. The NVP pin bush set is 13B only. The Toyota 13B has a gear driven camshaft, so neither a timing chain nor a belt.

Haltech harnesses for the Mazda 13B rotary

Two Elite 1500 CAS adaptors, for Series 4 and 5 or Series 6 to 8. Plus an Elite 1000 and 1500 harness with EV1 plugs. Nothing else here fits it.
