The Mazda JE is a 3.0 litre 60 degree V6 of 2954 cc, with a single overhead cam per bank and 18 valves. Aspiration is natural and fuelling is multipoint electronic injection. Mazda used it in the 929 from 1988 and in the MPV until 1998. Eight of the 9 parts filed under the JE are Mazda engine stock, running from gasket sets through to bearings.

NDC supplies both bearing sets here, one for the mains and one for the big ends. Neither carries a size in its listing, so confirm standard or undersize against your own crank before ordering. The Mazda JE runs a toothed timing belt rather than a chain, so a bottom end rebuild is the sensible time to replace it.
