The Holden LN3 is the naturally aspirated 3.8 litre Buick V6, a pushrod engine with multipoint fuel injection. It went into the VN, VP and VR Commodore from 1988 to 1995. The VS 3.8 kept the same block, so the parts here are tagged VN-VS. The L67 is the supercharged version, run from the VS Series II to the VY.Stock for the LN3 runs to 12 parts.
LN3 main, conrod and camshaft bearings
ACL main bearing sets in standard and Race grade, ACL Race conrod bearing sets and an ACL camshaft bearing set. The Race conrod set is listed in standard and 0.001 inch extra clearance. All four are boxed for the LN3 and the L67 alike.
LN3 timing chain and water pump
The LN3 uses a timing chain, not a belt. An NVP single chain is listed for the LN3 and L67 together, and a double row chain set is listed for the LN3 in the VS. An NPW water pump fits both engines.
Ring sets and VRS gasket set
Both ring sets are 0.5mm oversize, one of them boxed VS to VT. The NVP VRS set is a multi fit set for VS onward. Almost every box on this page is labelled Ecotec or L67 rather than LN3, so match by engine and year, not by the name on the label.
