The Mitsubishi 4G32 is the 1.6 litre Saturn four, 1597cc from a 76.9mm bore and 86mm stroke. It is SOHC with two valves per cylinder, naturally aspirated and carburetted. Mitsubishi built it from the early 1970s into the 1980s for the Lancer LA and LB, the Galant and the base Sigma GE. You will find 14 parts for it listed on this page.
4G32 timing chain guides, tensioner and gears
The 4G32 uses a timing chain, not a belt. We list the chain tensioner, the crankshaft timing gear, an OSK camshaft timing gear and both chain guides. The two guides are different part numbers, not a pair of the same one, so a full guide replacement takes one of each.
Gasket sets, head bolts and water pump
An NVP VRS gasket set for the 4G32 alone, and a KP full gasket set that also covers the 1.4 litre 4G33. A head bolt set for the SOHC head and a water pump sit with them.
4G32 pistons, rings and bearings
JCC pistons at 1mm oversize, a TP ring set, ACL main bearings and NDC conrod bearings. The bearing sets are also listed for the 2.0 litre 4G63, a different engine design that shares the crank journal sizes.
