The Toyota 15B is a 4.1 litre overhead valve four cylinder diesel, mechanically injected rather than common rail. Toyota built it from 1988 to 2003, and it is filed here against the Dyna BU and the HZB Coaster. The base engine is naturally aspirated and the 15B-FTE is turbocharged. Timing runs on gears, not a belt or a chain.We stock 7 parts for the 15B.
15B piston and ring sets
The 15B is the 4.1 litre engine and the 14B before it is 3.7 litres, so pistons do not cross between the two. A TIK piston set is listed in 0.5mm oversize, plus a single piston and ring assembly filed under the 15B-FTE.
Camshaft and conrod bearings
An NDC camshaft bearing set covers the B, 2B, 3B, 11B, 13B, 13B-T, 14B and 15B. A conrod bearing set is listed in 0.75mm undersize.
Head bolts and the rear main seal
A head bolt set is listed for the B, 11B, 14B and 15B. A genuine rear main seal covers a long run of Toyota diesels, so match it on outside diameter rather than by engine code.
