The Mercedes M104 is a 3.2 litre DOHC 24 valve petrol straight six, naturally aspirated and port injected. Built from 1989 to the late 1990s, the M104 went into the W124 and W140 in 3.2 litre form. Willys files these parts under E-Class rather than the Sprinter van, which never used the M104. Rebuild hardware is all the M104 page carries, and the total runs to 4 parts.
M104 head bolt sets
Two sets are listed, one of them a 14 bolt FAI kit that also covers the M162, M280, M300 and M320. Only one of the two states a bolt count, so count what comes out of your head before ordering. The M104 drives its cams off a timing chain, so there is no belt kit to add to a head job.
M104 head gasket set
One full VRS gasket set is listed for the M104. That set covers the .941, .942, .944, .945 and .992 variants. Check the number stamped on the block rather than the badge on the boot.
