The Volkswagen ACV is a 2.5 litre five cylinder turbo diesel with a single camshaft, 10 valves and direct injection from a distributor pump. Volkswagen used it in the T4 Transporter, Caravelle and Multivan from the mid 1990s until 2003. The ACV code accounts for 3 parts here, all of them rebuild hardware rather than service items.
ACV head gasket and head bolts
The head gasket listed here is a 1.61mm item shared with the AUF, AVR and AYC. Its head bolt set spans a wider group and covers the AAB, ACU, AET, AAF and BJK as well. Head bolts on the ACV stretch and are not reusable, so the bolt set goes on with a new gasket. The camshaft and the injection pump both run off one toothed belt, and no timing parts are filed under this code.
ACV main bearings
