The Honda H22Z1 is a 2.2 litre inline four petrol engine. The H22Z1 is naturally aspirated and multi point injected, with double overhead cams, sixteen valves and VTEC. Honda ran the H22 family in the Prelude and the Accord through the 1990s and into the early 2000s. The H22Z1 shelf runs to 3 parts, all of them sealing or bearing work.
Honda H22Z1 VRS and lower gasket sets
A KP VRS set is listed, boxed for the H22A and the H22Z1 together. An NVP lower set covers the H22A4, H22A1 and H22Z1 DOHC 16V. Those H22A codes are all 2.2 litre variants of the same engine. The VRS carries the head gasket and the top end seals, while the lower set handles the bottom end.
H22Z1 main bearing set
An NDC main bearing set is listed against the H22Z1 on its own. Honda stamped bearing grades on the block and the crank, so read yours before ordering rather than assuming standard.
