The Daewoo A16DMS is a 1.6 litre petrol four with a sixteen valve twin cam head and multipoint injection. The A16DMS is naturally aspirated and went into the Nubira and Lanos 1.6 through the late 1990s and early 2000s. The A15MF alongside it is the 1.5 litre eight valve single cam engine, so the head and valve gear do not swap.The A16DMS list runs to 8 parts.
VRS gasket sets and head bolts
Two VRS sets are listed, one for the metal rocker cover and one for the plastic cover. Lift the cover and look before you order, because they are not interchangeable. A head bolt set is filed with them.
Timing belt idler and front crank seal
The A16DMS runs a timing belt, not a chain. The belt idler pulley and the front crankshaft seal are both shared with the A15MF and the Holden F16D3.
Main bearings and ring set
A main bearing set and an NPR ring set are listed. The bearing set is filed across the A15MF and the A16LET as well.
