The Hyundai G6DC is the 3.5 litre Lambda II V6, a 60 degree DOHC 24 valve petrol engine with variable valve timing on both camshafts. The G6DC is naturally aspirated and port injected rather than direct injected. It went into the Santa Fe DM from 2012 to 2018 and into the equivalent Kia models.Stock for the G6DC runs to 26 parts.
Head gaskets and seals
Head gaskets and rear main seals, most of them genuine Hyundai and Kia stock. Head gaskets are bank specific on this engine, so work out whether you need the left or the right side before ordering, and the same goes for the inlet camshafts.
G6DC water pump and cooling
Water pumps and coolant housings, listed across the G6DA, G6DB and G6DC. The G6DA is the 3.3 litre and the G6DB the 3.8 litre version of the same V6 family.
Oil pump and internals
The G6DC runs chains rather than a belt, for the camshafts and for the oil pump drive. Oil pumps, oil pump chains, variable camshaft gears, conrods and main bearing sets are all stocked.
