The Nissan RB25DET is a 2.5 litre inline six, DOHC 24 valve. It runs a single turbo with electronic fuel injection. Nissan built it from 1993 to 2002 for the Skyline R33 and R34. The engine drives its cams with a timing belt, not a chain. R34 cars got the NEO variant, which differs from the earlier non NEO engine.The RB25DET list runs to 6 parts.
RB25DET head gasket and head bolts
The head gasket is listed for the RB25DE and the RB25DET. Head bolts are sold as single items, so count how many you need before you order.
RB25DET rings and conrod bearings
A RIK ring set in 0.5mm oversize is listed for the 24 valve turbo. There is also an ACL RACE conrod bearing set in 0.25mm undersize. That bearing set is shared with the RB26DETT, the 2.6 litre twin turbo version.
Harmonic balancers for the RB25DET
Two Fluidampr balancers are listed, one for the R33 non NEO engine and one for the R34 NEO. Check which variant you have before ordering, because the two part numbers do not swap.
