Isuzu 4ZE1 Engine Parts and Pistons

The Isuzu 4ZE1 is a 2.6 litre inline four petrol engine, single overhead cam with eight valves, naturally aspirated and fuel injected. It ran from the late 1980s into the late 1990s in the Rodeo and the Jackaroo, both sold here under Isuzu and Holden badges. 4ZE1 pistons and ring sets

Piston sets are listed in early and late versions, and ring sets come in standard, 0.5mm and 1.5mm oversize. Measure the bores and work out whether you need the early or the late piston before ordering, because a 4ZE1 that has already been rebored will not take a standard set.

4ZE1 main bearings and thrust washers

Main bearing sets are stocked in standard and copper lead. There is also a thrust washer set that covers the 2.3 litre 4ZD1 alongside this engine.

4ZE1 water pumps

Water pumps are listed under both the Isuzu and the Holden heading, one of them carrying the W6380 number. A crankshaft gear is stocked as well.
