Holden C20NE Engine Parts

The C20NE is a 2.0 litre inline four petrol from Opel’s Family II line, 1,998 cc, SOHC with 8 valves. The C20NE is naturally aspirated with Bosch multipoint fuel injection. C20NE gaskets and seals

A Permaseal sump gasket set, an NVP lower gasket set and an NVP front crankshaft seal. The lower set is boxed for the C20NE as a 2.0 SOHC 8 valve. The X20XEV in the same Holden 2.0 listings is a DOHC 16 valve of the same 1,998 cc with different gaskets. Confirm 8 or 16 valves before ordering.

Conrod bearings, head bolts and oil pump

NDC and TDC conrod bearing sets, both boxed across the C20NE, C22NE and the 1.6 litre 16JH and 16LF. An NVP head bolt set also boxed for the X20SE, and an NVP oil pump shared with the X20XEV and Z20. The X20SE is the same 1,998 cc SOHC 8 valve with revised emissions gear. The head bolts are stretch bolts. A head off for a gasket goes back on with a new set, never the old ones.

C20NE water pump

One NVP water pump, boxed for the C20NE alone. It runs off the timing belt and its housing is what you rotate to set belt tension.
