The Subaru FB20 is a 2.0 litre DOHC 16 valve flat four, naturally aspirated. It arrived in 2011 to replace the belt driven EJ20 of the same capacity. Subaru put it in the Impreza, XV and Forester. Port injection came first and direct injection followed on the FB20D. Of the 4 parts listed under the FB20, most are shared with the 2.5 litre FB25.
FB20 timing chain set and water pump
The timing chain set and the water pump are both catalogued across the FA20 used in the BRZ and the 2.5 litre FB25. The FB20 drives its cams on chains, not a belt. Plan on guides and a tensioner going in with the set, and do the water pump while the front cover is off.
Head bolts and conrod bearings
The head bolt set covers the FB20 along with the older EJ20 and the 2.5 litre EJ25. A conrod bearing set is listed for the FB20 and FB25 together. Subaru head bolts stretch on the angle stage, so put new ones in rather than measuring old ones and hoping.
