Mazda FP Engine Parts

The Mazda FP is a 1.8 litre inline four with twin overhead camshafts and 16 valves. The Mazda FP is naturally aspirated and fuel injected, and it runs a timing belt, not a chain. It went into the 323 BJ 1.8 and the Premacy from the mid 1990s. Parts are also filed against the Mazda 3, Mazda 6 and the 626 GE and GF.This page lists 7 parts for the Mazda FP.

Head gasket sets and head bolts

A VRS gasket set and a lower gasket set are both listed for the FP. A head bolt set is here too, covering the 2.0 litre FS as well. The VRS set and the lower set are separate part numbers, so a full strip needs both.

FP pistons, rings and bearings

A piston set in 0.5mm oversize is listed, along with a ring set and a conrod bearing set. All three carry the FS code as well as the FP.

Timing and other FP parts

A timing pulley is listed, and it is the only timing part we hold for this engine. FP-D covers the same 1.8 litre under a separate code, so check that listing as well.
