The Toyota 2AD is a 2.2 litre four cylinder diesel with a DOHC 16 valve head and an aluminium block. Fuelling is common rail direct injection through a variable nozzle turbocharger. Production ran from 2005 to 2015 and the engine went into the Avensis, RAV4, Corolla Verso and Auris. Only the timing chain set is unique to the 2.2 litre among the 2 parts tagged to the 2AD.
