The Mitsubishi 4B11 is a 2.0 litre inline four with a DOHC 16 valve head and MIVEC variable valve timing. It was built from 2007 and uses a timing chain, not a belt. Naturally aspirated versions went into the Lancer CJ, while the turbocharged 4B11T powers the Evo X. Many listings here also cover the 2.4 litre 4B12.We keep 6 parts for the 4B11 here.
4B11 head gaskets and gasket sets
A full gasket set is listed for the turbo 4B11. There is also an Athena head gasket cut for an 89mm bore in 1.2mm thickness with a copper ring. Standard bore is 86mm, so measure the block before you order the Athena part.
Water pump and timing chain parts
The NPW water pump and the timing chain tensioner are both listed to suit the 4B11 and the 4B12. One part number covers both engines in each case.
