The Mazda B6Y is one of the 1.6 litre codes in Mazda’s B series. The B6Y is an inline four, SOHC 16 valve, naturally aspirated and fuel injected. It shares the 78mm bore of the 1.5 litre B5. Mazda used the B family in the 323 and MX-5 NA from the late 1980s. The KP gasket set is the only B6Y specific line among the 4 parts here.
B6Y VRS gasket set
A KP VRS set is listed here, which is the head gasket kit for a valve grind rather than a full engine set. Check which head you have before ordering, since Mazda built this family with both SOHC and DOHC 16 valve heads.
Conrod bearings and ring set
An NDC conrod bearing set covers the B6, B6D, B6T, B6Y and BP together. The ring set covers the B5, B6Y and B6D. Rings interchange across those three because all three share a 78mm bore. Strokes differ, so pistons do not follow the same rule.
