Ford H9FB Engine Parts

The Ford H9FB is the 2.4 litre Duratorq TDCi diesel, an inline four with DOHC and 16 valves, turbocharged with common rail direct injection. It is the 115 PS rating of the 2.4 in the Transit VM from 2006 to 2011, the H9FA being the same engine at 100 PS. The H9FB uses a timing chain, not a belt.This page lists 13 parts for the H9FB.

H9FB head gaskets and gasket sets

Victor Reinz head gaskets including a 3 hole grade, Victor Reinz full and VRS gasket sets supplied without the head gasket, and an NVP VRS set, most of them also boxed for the H9FA and for the D0FA and D2FA, the same 2.4 block before common rail. Duratorq head gaskets come in thickness grades marked by hole count, so measure piston protrusion at top dead centre before you pick one.

H9FB timing chain sets

NVP and FAI single row timing chain sets, both supplied without gears, and a timing set. The NVP set and the timing set are also boxed for the P4AT, the 2.2 litre Ranger PX version of the same Duratorq family.

Water pump, head bolts and pistons

An NVP water pump that also fits the earlier 2.4s, an NVP head bolt set and a Yenmak piston and ring set.
