The Nissan SD25 is the 2.5 litre version of Nissan’s overhead valve diesel four, above the 2.2 litre SD22 and 2.3 litre SD23. Nissan fitted the SD25 to the 720 and D21 Navara utes and to the E24 Urvan, naturally aspirated and mechanically injected. Stock filed to the SD25 stands at 4 parts, and only the KP gasket set skips the SD22.
SD25 gasket sets and extractor gaskets
The KP VRS set is listed for the SD23 and SD25, which makes it the one line here that carries no SD22 number. A VRS set takes in the head gasket and the seals above it, not the sump or the rear main. Manta’s DSF extractor gasket is cut to the SD22 to SD25 flange, so check the pattern against your extractor before ordering.
Main bearings for the SD25
The NDC main bearing set is boxed to cover the SD20 through to the SD25. Measure the journals after the crank comes back from the grinder, because the box will not tell you the undersize.

The SD25 uses a timing chain, not a belt. The guide listed here is shared with the H20 petrol, the TD23 and the TD25.
