The Nissan VQ35DE is a 3.5 litre V6 with double overhead camshafts and 24 valves. The VQ35DE is naturally aspirated and port injected, built from 2000 into the early 2010s. VQ35DE pistons and rings
Piston and ring sets run from standard to oversize, including a Wossner forged set at 0.50 over. The VQ35DE and VQ40DE share a 95.5mm bore but not the stroke. That is why a ring set covers both and a piston set does not.
VQ35DE main and conrod bearings
Main bearing sets from NDC and TDC are listed, along with a thrust washer set for the crank.
VQ35DE timing chain and water pump
The VQ35DE runs a timing chain, not a belt. The genuine tensioner assembly listed here is the left hand side unit, and an NPW water pump covers the VQ35DE and VQ40.
