What is a Power Tune?

The work happens in software, not with bolt-on parts. We read the standard file out of the ECU, adjust fuelling, timing and boost for your engine, then check it under load before the vehicle leaves. What you notice on the road:

Why Choose Willy’s Workshop?

Every tune is written on the vehicle it is going into. Two utes on the same engine can want different files if one tows a van and the other never does. We read the standard map, then adjust fuelling and boost against what the engine is doing.

Limits matter as much as gains. Exhaust gas temperatures, boost and rail pressure stay inside what the engine, turbo and transmission can live with. If something needs sorting before the engine can safely take more fuel, we tell you first.

What is a power tune?

A power tune is a custom performance upgrade focused on increasing engine output and throttle responsiveness. We recalibrate the key engine parameters for stronger, smoother acceleration across all driving conditions, so the vehicle responds the moment you put your foot down.

What will I notice after a power tune?

Increased horsepower and torque, stronger acceleration through the gears, faster throttle response and improved overtaking performance. Under load or towing you also get more usable power, less gear hunting under acceleration and reduced turbo lag off the mark.

Will a power tune hurt reliability?
