The Holden L77 is a 6.0 litre Gen IV pushrod V8 with two valves per cylinder. The L77 is naturally aspirated and port injected, and it runs a timing chain rather than a belt. It runs Active Fuel Management and is factory rated for E85. Holden fitted it to the Commodore from 2010 and the parts are filed under VE and VF.Stock for the L77 runs to 5 parts.
AFM lifters and camshafts
Genuine Active Fuel Management lifters are listed for the L77 and L76, along with a non AFM single bolt camshaft that also covers the LS2 and L98. Those two are 6.0 litre Gen IV V8s built without AFM.
Pistons, mains and conrod bearings
A TIK piston set is listed as an LS 6.0 litre part for the L76, L77, L98 and LS2. Main and conrod bearing sets here also carry the 5.7 litre LS1 and the 6.2 litre LS3. The bore is what separates those, so read the size on the box rather than the engine list.
