Holden Alloytec Engine Parts

Alloytec is Holden’s badge for the GM High Feature V6: all alloy, DOHC, 24 valve. Holden ran it in the VZ Commodore from 2004 and the VE from 2006. Stock here spans the 3.0, 3.2 and 3.6 litre versions, early port injected and later SIDI direct injected. The Alloytec code covers 23 parts here, 20 of them catalogued against the VY to VZ Commodore.

Gasket sets, head gaskets and head bolts

A different full gasket set is listed for each generation. One covers the early 3.6 LE0 and LY7. A second suits the SIDI 3.6 LLT and LFX. A third is for the 3.0 LF1 and LFW. An MLS head gasket set covers both banks. Inlet manifold, rocker cover and head bolt sets are here too. Work out which generation you have before ordering a full set, because the early and SIDI sets do not interchange.

Pistons, rings and bearings

TIK piston sets are listed for the early LY7 and LE0 and for the SIDI LLT and LFX. NPR rings suit the LY7 and LLT. ACL main and conrod bearing sets, race shells included, span the 3.0 and 3.6 together. A TDC main bearing set is listed for the 3.6.
