Mazda G6 Timing Components and Engine Parts

The Mazda G6 is a 2.6 litre SOHC 12 valve inline four petrol engine with balance shafts, fitted to the 626 GD and GE 2.6, the MPV LV and the B2600. It ran from the late 1980s into the 1990s, and some Ford badged models used it as well. The camshaft is belt driven, not chain driven.Our Mazda G6 stock runs to 28 parts.

Timing sets for the 2.6 are stocked and are listed without gears. Cam followers and lifters for the same engine sit in this group.

Pistons, rings and conrods

Piston sets, piston and ring sets, plain ring sets and conrods are held, with pistons listed in standard and 0.1mm oversize.

Gasket sets and bearing sets

Full sets, lower sets and head bolt sets are listed, most of them shared with the 2.0 litre FE and the 2.2 litre F2. Conrod, main and balance shaft bearings are stocked, and the balance shaft bearings are a separate set from the mains, so send both out when the block goes to the machine shop.
