The Mercedes OM611 is a 2.2 litre diesel inline four, 2,151cc from an 88mm bore and 88.4mm stroke. It is DOHC 16 valve, turbocharged, with common rail direct injection. Built from 1997 to about 2006, here it covers the Sprinter and Vito 2.2 CDI vans. The OM611 runs a timing chain, not a belt.We hold 11 parts for the OM611.
OM611 timing chain sets
Two NVP double row chain sets, one for the .960 and .961 without gears or gaskets and one boxed for the OM646 too. The OM646 replaced it from about 2004 on the same 88mm bore at 2,148cc, so chain and bearing parts cross over.
OM611 water pumps
Two FAI water pumps, one for the OM611 alone and one shared with the OM612, the 2.7 litre five cylinder.
OM611 gasket set and head bolts
A Victor Reinz full gasket set for the .980 and .981 and an NVP head bolt set for the .980, .981 and .987. Everything here goes by suffix. The .960 and .961 are the C and E class cars, .980 is the Vito and .981 and .987 are the Sprinter. Read the full number off the block first.
