The Mitsubishi 4G51 is the 1.85 litre member of the Astron 4G5 family: a cast iron inline four with a single overhead camshaft and eight valves. The 4G51 is naturally aspirated and carburettor fed, and it ran from the mid 1970s through the 1980s in Galant and Sigma models. The 4G51 page carries 5 parts, all of them internal rather than bolt on.
4G51 timing chain guides
The 4G51 runs a timing chain, not a belt. Three of the listings are guides: an upper timing guide and two chain guides, all genuine Mitsubishi. The upper and lower guides are separate part numbers, so count them out of the front cover before ordering.
Oil pump
One oil pump is listed, shared with the 2.6 litre 4G54. Fit it with a new front seal, because the pump has to come off again if the seal weeps. Most of this page is cross filed with the 4G54, which is why Pajero NA to NG shows in the categories.

A small end pin bush is also filed under the 4G51. It needs pressing and reaming to suit the gudgeon pin, so it is a machine shop item rather than a bench fit.
