The Mazda RF is a 2.0 litre SOHC eight valve inline four diesel. Mazda built it in indirect injection, turbocharged RF-T and later common rail form from the mid 1980s into the early 2000s. It went into the 626 in GD, GE and GF (1997-2002) trim, and into the Bongo van. Every one of the 6 parts under the Mazda RF is bottom end rebuild stock.
RF main and conrod bearings
Main bearing sets, conrod shell sets and thrust washer sets are listed in standard and 0.5mm undersize. Most of these part numbers cover the R2 as well, which is the 2.2 litre version of the same diesel. That is why the Bravo / B-Series UN (1998-2006) turns up in the filing here.
RF piston and ring sets
Piston sets are listed in 0.5mm oversize, including a set cut for the common rail RF. Measure the bores after the block comes back from the machine shop rather than ordering to the old size.
Ordering the right RF set
