The Toyota 4M is a 2.6 litre inline six, 2,563cc from an 80mm bore and 85mm stroke, with a single overhead cam and twelve valves. The Toyota 4M is carburetted and naturally aspirated, with the injected 4M-E built alongside it for the first Celica Supra. Toyota fitted it from 1972 to 1980 in the Crown MS and the Cressida MX32. There are 14 parts listed for the Toyota 4M.

Timing chain guides, tensioner and gears

The 4M uses a timing chain, not a belt. Chain guides, a chain damper, a tensioner, the crankshaft and camshaft timing gears and the oil pump idler gear are all listed. Several are shared with the 2M and 5M, which run the same 85mm stroke. The 2M is the 2.3 litre on a 75mm bore and the 5M the 2.8 litre on 83mm.

Pistons, rings, bearings and seals

A 0.5mm oversize piston set, a ring set, conrod bearings, camshaft bearings and two front crankshaft seals are listed.
