The BMW M52 is a 2.5 or 2.8 litre inline six, DOHC 24 valve, naturally aspirated with multipoint injection. BMW built it from 1994 to 2000 for the E36 and E46 323i and 328i, and the E39 528i. It sits between the iron block 2.0 and 2.5 litre M50 and the later 2.2 to 3.0 litre M54. We have 6 parts listed for the M52.
Upper timing chain sets
The M52 runs a timing chain, not a belt, and two upper chain sets are listed. They are the upper kit without gears, so the lower chain and the guides are not included.
Head bolt sets and the VRS gasket set
Two head bolt sets are listed, one covering the M50 and M52 and one adding the M54. A FAI VRS gasket set is listed for the M52 DOHC 24 valve.
M52 main bearings
One main bearing set is listed, and it spans the SOHC M20 plus the M50, M52 and M54. That is a wide net, so match the shell size to what came out of your block.
