The Ford P4AT is a 2.2 litre inline four turbo diesel with a DOHC 16 valve head and common rail direct injection. Ford and Mazda used it in the Ranger PX, PX2 and PX3 and the BT-50 UP and UR from 2011, and the same 2.2 also went into the Transit. The larger P5AT is the 3.2 litre five cylinder version.The P4AT list runs to 25 parts.
P4AT head gaskets and gasket sets
Head gaskets, VRS sets, full gasket sets and head bolt sets are stocked. Head gaskets come in notch thicknesses, so count the notches on the old one or measure piston protrusion before ordering, because a two notch will not sub for a one or three notch.
Pistons, rings and main bearings
Piston and ring sets and main bearing sets are listed, including sets tagged to the earlier QVFA build.
Timing chain, water pumps and glow plugs
The P4AT runs a timing chain, not a belt, and chain sets are listed without gears. Water pumps, automatic belt tensioners and glow plugs are stocked as well.
