The Mazda WL-T is the turbocharged 2.5 litre four cylinder diesel, a single overhead camshaft twelve valve engine built from the mid 1990s to 2011. Ford fitted it to the Ranger PJ and PK, where the intercooled version wears the WLAT code. Pistons and gaskets carry the weight of the 13 parts tagged to the WL-T, with nothing listed for the fuel system.
WL-T pistons and oversize ring sets
Piston and ring sets are the deepest part of this listing, in standard, 0.5mm and 1mm oversize. Measure the bore after machining before you pick an oversize, because the WL-T and the naturally aspirated WL share a bore and the boxes look alike.
WL-T timing belt and tensioner
The WL-T drives its camshaft with a timing belt rather than a chain. Both a belt set and a separate tensioner are listed.
WL-T gasket sets, head bolts and bearings
VRS and lower gasket sets cover the top and bottom of the engine, and a genuine rocker cover gasket is listed on its own. Head bolts, conrod bearings and a balance shaft bearing set round out the rebuild side.
The rest of the WL-T shelf
A genuine block to head oil restrictor is the only fitting here, boxed for the 3.0 litre WE and the WL-C as well.
