The Ford 289 is a 4.7 litre pushrod V8 from the Windsor small block family, naturally aspirated and carburetted. It was the first Windsor with the 4.00 inch bore later used by the 302, on a shorter 2.87 inch stroke. Ford built it from 1963 to 1968, and it went into the Mustang and the XR Falcon GT. The 289 accounts for 5 parts here, all bearing sets.
