The Honda H22A is a 2.2 litre DOHC VTEC inline four, naturally aspirated and port injected. Honda built it for the Prelude from December 1991 through to 2001. The H22Z1 is the later Prelude version of the same engine and shares the gasket set. The H22A tag covers 2 parts here, running from a full gasket set to conrod bearings.
H22A gasket set
The KP VRS gasket set here is listed for both the H22A and the H22Z1. A VRS set is the full engine set rather than a head gasket on its own. The H22A runs a timing belt rather than a chain, and no belt kit is filed under this code.
H22A conrod bearings
An NDC conrod bearing set is the only bottom end line under the H22A. Honda colour codes its bearing sizes on the crank web and the block deck, so read those stamps before ordering rather than assuming standard. The H23A is the 2.3 litre engine from the same family, using the same bore with a longer stroke.
