The Nissan QR25DE is a 2.5 litre petrol inline four, double overhead cam with 16 valves, naturally aspirated and port injected. Nissan has built it since 2001 for the X-Trail T30/T31 and the Altima, and Renault fitted the same engine to the Koleos as the 2TRA. The QR25DE runs a timing chain, not a belt.Stock for the QR25DE runs to 13 parts.
QR25DE head gasket and gasket sets
An NVP head gasket for the DOHC 16 valve head, a KP VRS set, a KP lower set and a KP full gasket set, plus the NVP head bolt set to go with them.
Bearings, rings and pin bushes
NVP main and conrod bearing sets, an NDC conrod set at 0.25mm undersize, NDC thrust washers, an NPR ring set and an NDC pin bush set.
Oil pump timing cover
On the QR25DE the oil pump is built into the front timing cover, and the cover listed here suits 2001 on engines without an oil cooler, so check for a cooler behind the filter before you order.
