The Honda EW2 is a 1,488cc inline four petrol engine, SOHC with 12 valves, naturally aspirated on a carburettor. Honda built it from 1983 to 1987 for the third generation Civic and CRX as the non-CVCC 1.5. The EW2 drives its camshaft with a toothed belt, not a chain. Nothing on the EW2 page is a service item: all 4 parts are ring, piston or gasket sets.
EW2 piston and ring sets
A TP ring set and a second ring set listed for the SOHC 12 valve head, plus a piston set. Rings and pistons are sold as separate listings here rather than as one boxed kit. Measure the bores before ordering either, because a block that has already been rebored needs the matching oversize part. Buying the ring set to the engine code alone is how people end up with standard rings in an oversize bore.
The EW2 gasket set
A KP VRS gasket set for the EW2, covering the head and top end rather than the sump and rear main. A full strip needs the bottom end seals sourced on their own.
