The Ford 276DT is the 2.7 litre Lion V6 turbo diesel, DOHC 24 valve with common rail injection. Bore is 81mm, stroke 88mm. Land Rover fitted it to the Discovery 3 and Range Rover Sport from 2004, and Ford used it in the Territory SZ. Camshaft drive is by toothed belt rather than chain. 276DT head gasket and VRS set
A Victor Reinz VRS gasket set is listed for the 276DT. The head gasket is sold on its own as a five hole, 1.32mm item. The listing notes two are needed per engine. Count the holes in the old gasket before you order, because this V6 uses graded head gaskets chosen on piston protrusion.
276DT timing belt kit
The Dayco belt set here is boxed for both the 276DT and the 3.0 litre 306DT. The 306DT is the same block taken out to an 84mm bore and a 90mm stroke. One kit covers both engines.
