The Nissan VQ35DE is a 3.5 litre V6 with twin overhead cams and 24 valves, naturally aspirated on multipoint injection. Nissan built it from 2000 into the mid 2010s. In Australia it powered the 350Z Z33, the J31 Maxima and the Z50 and Z51 Murano. The 370Z runs the 3.7 VQ37VHR instead.12 parts for the VQ35 are listed here.
VQ35 gasket sets and seals
Six listings are gaskets and seals. There are two genuine full gasket sets, one early and one marked Late, plus an NVP VRS set without crank seals. Front and rear crank seals come from Victor Reinz, Nissan and NVP. The two full sets are different part numbers, so call Oxley on (07) 3377 3421 or Warana on (07) 5619 7869 with your engine number if you are unsure which one you have.
VQ35 timing chain kits
The VQ35 uses a timing chain, not a belt. We list an NVP timing set, an NVP timing chain set and a genuine Nissan tensioner.
VQ35 pistons and rings
The Wossner forged piston and ring set is 0.50 mm oversize, so it only suits a block that has already been bored. For a standard bore use the TP ring set. That set and the front crank seal also fit the 4.0 VQ40 in the R51 Pathfinder. Measure the bores first.
