Holden L67 Engine Parts

The Holden L67 is the supercharged 3.8 litre Ecotec V6, a pushrod engine with two valves per cylinder, multipoint fuel injection and an Eaton M90 supercharger. Holden fitted it to the VS Series II, VT, VX and VY Commodore from 1996 to 2004. The tags here run VS to VZ, but the VZ moved to the 3.6 Alloytec and never had the L67.We keep 14 parts for the L67 here.

L67 main, conrod and camshaft bearings

ACL main bearing sets in standard and Race grade, ACL Race conrod bearing sets and an ACL camshaft bearing set. The Race conrod set comes in standard and 0.001 inch extra clearance, so measure the crank before you pick one. Most sets also carry the LN3, the earlier 3.8 in the VN to VS. They fit the naturally aspirated L36 too; it shares the L67 block and bore but runs higher compression without the supercharger.

L67 VRS and full gasket sets

NVP and Permaseal VRS sets, a full gasket set and a rear main seal. The Permaseal set is listed for the supercharged engine specifically; the multi fit sets cover VS onward.

Timing chain, water pump and ring sets

The L67 uses a timing chain, not a belt, and an NVP chain is listed alongside an NPW water pump. Both ring sets are 0.5mm oversize, so they suit a bored block, not a hone and re-ring.
