The Mazda F2 is the 2.2 litre version of Mazda’s F block, a SOHC eight valve petrol four, naturally aspirated and carburetted or injected. The FE is the 2.0 litre and the F8 the 1.8 litre. Listings start in the mid 1980s and cover the Bravo and B Series UF and UN, the B2600, the E2000 van and the 626 GC and GD. Our shelves hold 22 parts for the Mazda F2.
F2 gasket sets and seals
VRS gasket sets, inlet manifold gaskets, camshaft end seals and front crankshaft seals. Most are boxed for the FE, F2 and F8 together, which is normal for this family and not a listing error.
F2 pistons and rings
Ring sets from ACL, Hastings and our own line in standard, 0.5mm and 1mm oversize. Piston sets are listed for the F2 on its own. The F block shares a bore across the 1.8, 2.0 and 2.2, which is why one ring box covers all three. Stroke is what separates them, so measure before ordering oversize.
Timing belt parts
The F2 turns its camshaft with a toothed belt, not a chain. Timing belt tensioners are listed for the FE and F2.
