The Toyota 2GD-FTV is a 2.4 litre DOHC sixteen valve inline four turbo diesel running common rail direct injection. Built from 2015, it is the smaller of the two GD engines and sits under the 2.8 litre 1GD-FTV. The parts here are filed against the Hilux GUN126 (2015-on). Gasket sets make up most of the 5 parts we list under the 2GD.
VRS gasket sets
Victor Reinz sets are the bulk of the 2GD stock. They come without a head gasket and without valve stem seals, so add those to the order or the job stalls.
2GD water pump
An NPW pump is listed to suit the 1GD and 2GD, the 1GD being the 2.8 litre version. The 2GD uses a timing chain rather than a belt, so there is no belt kit to buy with the pump.
2GD pistons and rings
A Yenmak piston and ring set is listed against the 2GD-FTV on its own rather than shared with the 1GD.
The rest of our 2GD stock
A genuine inner axle shaft seal is also filed here, shared across most of the modern Hilux engine range. Nothing else under this code is specific to the 2GD.
