Mitsubishi 4G62 Engine Parts

The Mitsubishi 4G62 is the 1.8 litre Sirius four: 1,795 cc, inline four, SOHC 8 valve. Naturally aspirated, carburetted or ECI injected, or turbocharged as the 4G62T. The 4G62 is belt driven, not chain driven. Mitsubishi built it from 1982 into the 1990s. It went into the Cordia AA to AC, the Nimbus UA and the L300 Express SF, SG and SH. 4G62 pistons and ring sets

Two piston sets, at 0.5 mm and 0.75 mm oversize, and a TP ring set at 1 mm oversize. The 4G62 bore is 80.6 mm against 85 mm on the 2.0 4G63, so 4G63 pistons and rings will not go in this block. Measure the bore before ordering: a 4G62 rebuilt once is often already at 0.5 mm.

4G62 conrod and balance shaft bearings

Two NDC balance shaft bearing sets and an NDC conrod bearing set. The 4G62 shares its 88 mm stroke and journal sizes with the 4G63, so all three sets are also listed for the 4G63 and the 2.4 4G64.

4G62 extractors

Two Manta extractors. One suits the L300 2WD and 4WD with the 4G62 or 4G63. The other suits the L200 and L300 SF, SG and SH with the twin siamese port head.
