Holden 138 Engine Parts

The Holden 138 is the 138 cubic inch, 2262cc grey motor six. It is overhead valve with two valves per cylinder, a single carburettor and no turbo. Holden fitted it from the FB of 1960 through the EK and EJ until the red motor arrived in 1963. The FE and FC ran the 132 cubic inch, same 3 inch bore, shorter stroke.We carry 14 parts for the 138.

Holden 138 bearings, pistons and rings

ACL main bearings and an NDC main set at 0.75mm undersize. ACL conrod sets standard and 0.5mm undersize, camshaft bearings, and a piston and ring set at 1.5mm oversize. Factory figures are in inches and these sets are in millimetres: a block bored 0.060 inch takes the 1.5mm pistons, a crank ground 0.030 inch takes the 0.75mm mains.

Rocker cover, side plate, sump and manifold gaskets and the Permaseal hotbox gasket, all listed for both 132 and 138.

Water pump and camshaft timing gear

The 138 is gear driven, no chain and no belt. The camshaft timing gear is listed on its own and the water pump covers both 132 and 138.
