The Nissan CA18 is a 1.8 litre SOHC inline four petrol engine with eight valves, naturally aspirated in this form. It ran through the 1980s in the Silvia S12 and S13 and in the Bluebird. The CA18 drives its camshaft with a toothed belt, not a chain. The CA18 shows 4 parts on this page, three of them bottom end sets and one a manifold gasket.
The turbocharged CA18DET is the DOHC 16 valve version of the same 1.8 litre block and has its own page.
CA18 bearing sets
A main bearing set is listed in 1mm undersize for the CA16, CA18 and CA20. An ACL race conrod set in 0.25mm undersize runs from the CA16 up to the CA20. Anything listed across those three codes is bearings or a gasket, since they do not share a bore.
CA18 piston rings
The TP ring set here is listed for the CA18 on its own, not across the family. Rings are the one group in this family that will not cross to the CA16 or CA20.
