The Nissan CA18DET is a 1.8 litre DOHC 16 valve inline four, turbocharged and running multipoint electronic injection on petrol. Nissan built it from the mid 1980s to 1991. It is best known in the Silvia S13, and it also appeared in the early 180SX and the Bluebird before that. Race bearings and pistons
ACL Race main and conrod shells are listed in 0.25mm undersize, alongside a piston set. The conrod number is multi-fit across CA16, CA18, CA20 and H20II, so check journal sizes rather than the title. The CA18DET turns its camshaft on a timing belt, not a chain.

Two Haltech Elite kits are listed for the Silvia S13, an Elite 1000/1500 and an Elite 1500. Both are built for the factory loom rather than wired in as universal boxes.
