The Suzuki G16B is a 1.6 litre inline-4 with a SOHC 16-valve head, naturally aspirated on multipoint EFI, built from about 1991 to 2005. It shares its 75mm bore and 90mm stroke with the 8-valve G16A, the head being the difference. It went into the Vitara SE416 and Grand Vitara SQ416, the Baleno SY416 1.6 16v and the 1.6 Swift sedan. G16B extractors
Manta extractors are listed for the Vitara 1.6 EFI and the Swift 1.6 sedan. The Vitara ones split by flange, 3-bolt for 1991 to 1994 and ball flange for 1994 to 1998, so look at the downpipe joint before you order.
G16B ring sets and bearings
NPR ring sets, NDC conrod bearing sets and TDC main bearing sets are listed across the G16A and G16B, since the bottom end is common to both heads.
G16B gasket sets, seals and water pump
KP full and VRS gasket sets are listed for the G16B specifically. Front crank and rear main seals are shared with the 1.3 litre G13A and G13BA, and the NPW water pump with the 1.5 litre G15A.
