The Hyundai D4EB is a 2.2 litre turbo diesel inline four, single overhead cam with 16 valves and common rail direct injection. Hyundai built it from about 2006 to 2012 and fitted it to the Santa Fe CM, the generation before the DM. It is the single cam 2.2 of the older D family, not the twin cam D4HB that followed it.
